Ficlet prompts

I need to get back into writing, the same way I need oxygen to breathe. It's been over a year though and I could do with some prompts. See my tags for subjects/fandoms/pairings/formats I'm comfortable with, but I'm flexible. Be as specific or as vague as you like.

I can't promise to be quick, but this would really help me begin to edge back in...

On the positive

I've been writing like the clappers, and it's FUN. (My internal Watson is protesting that it's very unfair to have fun at his expense. It's a

watsons_woes challenge, dear boy, there are 29 days of whumpage left to go.) Two Holmes prompt fills yesterday (including my first foray into ACD canon, OMG wibble wibble) that both went down well, and then a final kick in the teeth for my Hornblower Remix fic which has gone a bit strange but I think is going to be the version that gets posted.

The plotbunny hutch is getting very very unbalanced though. I think I may have let a boy!bunny in with the girl!bunnies because there are a lot more in there than last time I looked. I might have to decide which ones I'm not proprietorial enough about that I can put them up for adoption.

Today ~~I am going to sit on the sofa and write more~~ I'm going to do some housework. I bloody am. There are some errands to run too, a parcel to sort, but I do at least have to think about today's prompt and polish the remix.

I need more Hornblower bunnies to balance the Holmes bunnies out though. If anyone has any prompts lob them at me (in the understanding that it may take a little while...)

Snow

Yet more Hornblower! What's going on? Why do I always write in little bursts of energy, it would be much more useful if I could spread my writing effort out. But then my bursts of knitting effotr, and baking effort, and cross stitching effort would have no time to come to the fore I suppose:

I did some writing! It's not cheerful though. I was watching "The Duchess and the Devil" and I though, gee, this isn't nearly angsty enough, so I wrote some suicidal!Archie for the hell of it. Poor Archie, maybe I'll write him some recovery scenes next.
